Fleming Advertising and Design was created in 2005 by Scott Fleming. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts and Mass Communications in 1992. After graduation he earned his PHD (poor, hungry and driven), while working the midnight shift doing yellow pages ads, before eventually moving on to bigger and better gigs.

 

Scott worked for 15+ years at larger ad agencies in Tampa, including a short stint at West & Company, and later Moore, Epstein, Moore in 1993, were he worked his way up to Creative Director. During this time he also established a growing freelance business.

Eventually he outgrew the agency job, and took the plunge starting up his own design business. Many of the Moore, Epstein, Moore clients made the move, keeping their design work with Scott, including Jim Epstein who also left the agency at the same time.

 

Scott believes growing long term business relationships, relying on referrals rather than sales people to expand his business. As a small design firm, he enjoys the direct interaction with clients. Personal attention, prompt service and accountability are the key. Expect a much simpler and straight forward experience with FlemingAD.

Scott utilizes his network of outside professional copywriters, PR agents, and video production when needed. He is also joined by his wife Gigi Fleming who does the bookkeeping.
